5 students injured as bounce house goes airborne in wind gust in Zillah

Several students were injured at a Washington state high school Wednesday when a gust of wind catapulted a bouncy house at least 10 feet into the air, officials said.

A “strong gust of wind” flipped the bounce house over around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Zillah High School, carrying the students jumping inside around 240 feet, the Yakima Herald-Republic reported.

Five kids reportedly were injured in the freak accident, including one who was in critical condition.
