Steve Adelman is head of Adelman Law Group, PLLC and Vice President of the Event Safety Alliance. He represents clients involved in all aspects of the presentation of live events, and he advocates for safe practices by industry professionals. He has led the creation of American National Standards for Crowd Management, ANSI ES1.9-2020, and the upcoming Event Security standard, ANSI ES1.40-202x. Steve has served as a standard of care expert regarding event safety and crowd management in some of the largest lawsuits in the industry, including the 2011 Indiana State Fair stage roof collapse and the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting cases, among many others. After wandering the Arizona desert for 25 years, Steve returned to his roots and lives in Connecticut.
