In 2006, after 16 years with a leading insurance carrier, Scott Carroll opened the southern California brokerage and underwriting office of US Risk Insurance Group, known as Take1 Insurance. Since 2008, Scott has focused exclusively on underwriting risks specific to the entertainment industry, particularly live event productions. Scott is a tireless advocate for safe practices at all live events. He is frequently published in live event trade journals and he writes a widely read blog. Scott is married to Susan for more than 30 years and has 3 children.
