BSR ES1.4, Event Fire Safety Standard Now In Public Review

BSR ES1.4, Event Fire Safety Requirements from the Event Safety Working Group is now posted for public review on ESTA's Technical Standards Program website.

The goal of this standard is to identify and describe the steps necessary to establish a reasonable level of life safety and property protection from the hazards of fire, explosion, and dangerous conditions at a live event. This includes looking at measures to avoid fire risks, effective response should an incident occur, planning escape routes, and basic firefighting measures. Further details must be obtained from the local fire and building officials with jurisdiction over the venue.

Comments are being accepted through January 12, 2021. Visit https://tsp.esta.org/tsp/documents/public_review_docs.php to download the document and review instructions.
